Hello, Here is some info
you may not know about me...
I get very excited as I think
about when I first started dancing Casino. I was an awkwardly
moving individual that had no sense of time and space as it
applied to Casino dancing. This was very hard for me to take
because I have always been a natural athlete. Controlling
my movement has always been easy for me.
The amount of time, practice
and patience that went into developing a confident dancer
has taken me six years. I look at this dance with great appreciation
more like reverence. This is a life long journey for me. So
six years to me is moving and grooving. Dancing is awesome.
I learn a great deal about myself through the dance.
Afro-Cuban dancing is so
amazing. The deeper I go, the vaster it becomes. To be able
to share this with others is truly a blessing. I have chosen
a path to educate through the dance not just to show moves
that I have learned. I thrive to create and show others how
they can create as well. My teaching is meant to simply inspire
each dancer that I encounter. In this way the dance is ever
changing. I profess to teach you nothing. My goal is to inspire
you to teach yourself. In order to see that you need constant
inspiration, constant knowledge, an open mindset and a will
to learn. I am an artist that educates others about a specific
art. That art just happens to be movement through dance.
